Jalapeño Apple Jam

Around 1 L


  • 2 lemons, sliced
  • 4 medium apple, peeled, finely chopped
  • 2 medium red bell peppers, finely chopped
  • 10 medium jalapeño peppers, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon PepperuKoHK Jalapeño chili powder
  • 1 tea spoon kosher salt
  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 3 cups cider vinegar


Put all ingredients into a lager pot, bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

Reduce heat and simmer, stirring often and reducing the heat as necessary, until thick.

Remove from heat and fish out the lemons, which will now just be soft pieces of peel; discard lemons.

Cool down

Ladle jam into the jar

TIPS: Try it as a sauce for deep fry snack or grill pork chop/chicken
