Baked Sweet Potatoes with Chili Butter

For 4 persons


  • 4 sweet potatoes
  • 250g unsalted butter
  • Your favorite chili powder of PepperukoHK, 1 teaspoon (more or less to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoon of salt
  • 1 pinch pepper


Preheat the oven to 200°C.

Add the softened butter, chili powder, salt and pepper in a bowl and mix well.

Gently spoon the mixture onto a sheet of cling film and roll into a log shape. Set in the fridge for 20 minutes.

Place the skin on potatoes on a foil-lined baking tray, and roast for 50 minutes to 1 hour, or until soft.

Let them rest until they’re cool down a bit.

Then take a knife to slice them down the middle, peel the jacket to the sides, and top with chili butter.
